Creamy Smoked Paprika Pork | Low Calorie Slimming Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 onions , sliced
- 500g diced pork, all fat removed
- 1 clove of garlic, finely diced
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 300ml pint chicken or vegetable stock
- 100ml low fat cream cheese
- Low calorie cooking spray
Instructions
- Spray a frying pan with low calorie cooking spray.
- Add the onions and fry for 10 minutes, until softened.
- Add the garlic and half the smoked paprika, and stir for another 2 minutes.
- Add the diced pork into the pan, and stir to cook well and brown the chunks all over. Sprinkle with the rest of the smoked paprika.
- Add in the stock and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 30-35 minutes, until the pork is tender.
- Stir in the cream cheese and take off the heat. Stir until it has created a thick sauce.
- Serve with rice or pasta.
Notes:
Can be stored in the fridge for 3 days.
